Dearsan Combat Systems:
As Dearsan envisions itself as a prominent naval shipbuilder in Turkey, it has been decided to possess core competency in Combat Systems which is naturally peculiar to Naval Shipbuilding. In order to achieve this goal; Combat Systems Division has been established during the reorganization process. Combat Systems Division positions are filled with retired naval officers/technicians with vast experience and knowledge in this area.
Combat Systems Division activities shall in general be as follows:
- Assistance in response to RFI, RFP for various shipbuilding projects,(for the Combat Systems requirements and solutions),
- Management and coordination of Combat Systems design activities starting from concept design and endind up with detailed design,
- Preparation/coordination of all documentation (technical documenatation,installation, Check-out and Test Documenation etc.) as required by the Shipbuilding Contracts.
- Execution and overall management of Installation and Check-out activities of Combat Systems equipment onboard,
- Execution and overall management of acceptance test (FAT: Factory Acceptance Test, HAT: Harbor Acceptance Test, SIT: system Integration Test and SAT: Sea Acceptance Test) activities,
- Execution and management of relevant QMS activities (preparation of relevant procedures and instructions, keeping quality records as required by Dearsan’s Quality Department.),
- Obsolescence management,
- Assistance in Configuration Management of Combat Systems (as part of the overall Configuration Management as required by the Shipbuilding Contracts)
- ILS planning assistance (determining maintenance concepts, onboard and base level spares, special tools and test equipment),
- Management and coordnation of follow-on tehcnical support.
